NOTE: Google Earth Pro is now FREE.
You will need a Google account to use as login and activate it (Google Earth Pro Key = GEPFREE). Note that this Key could change without notice!
You can download it below. When activating Google Earth Pro (GEP), check the box to login automatically.
Using the KMZ file with Google Earth:
Download and install Google Earth or Google Earth Pro (see above for Googel Earth Pro Key).
Download KMZ File (MatadorHuntingddmmyyyy.kmz). NOTE: dd=day, mm=month and yyyy=year of last update.
You can update the file any time by clicking on the "Download KMZ File" in the right sidebar.
Save the file some place convenient on your computer.
Now when you double-click the KMZ file, your computer will start Google Earth, load the file and zoom in.
If you are not familiar with Google Earth, I suggest you explore the options (on menu at top, select "Tools" then "options".
One good option to play with is "Elevation Exaggeration" on the 3D View tab. Changing this to something like 2 will exaggerate the terrain elevations.
Another good thing to do is turn off as many "Layers" as possible (lower left). Especially "Borders and Labels".
When you exit Google Earth, it will ask you if you want to save "Temporary Places" to your "My Places" folder.
If you like, you can save it then you just start Google Earth and the kmz file will be in the "My Places" folder at top left.
However, if you don't update the kmz file every once in a while, it may get outdated.
All you have to do to update is download the kmz file again, double click it to start Google Earth.
Right click on the MatadorHuntingddmmyyyy.kmz file under "My Places" and select delete (this is the old file).
Exit Google Earth and save the file again. If you do not delete the old file, you will end up with 2 MatadorHuntingddmmyyyy.kmz files.
If you have any questions, just reply to this post and someone will assist you.
